Terms Of Service
Last Updated April 21, 2026
Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using CourseQ (the "Service"), operated by Quast Ventures LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
The Service is intended for personal, organizational use only. Users represent and warrant that they have the necessary permissions to upload documents for personal scheduling.
1. AI-Powered Data Extraction And Accuracy Disclaimer
The Service uses artificial intelligence to parse and extract schedule information from uploaded documents. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy. You are solely responsible for verifying parsed dates, deadlines, and schedule information against your official syllabus.
CourseQ is not responsible for academic penalties, missed exams, late assignments, or failing grades resulting from extraction errors.
2. One-Way Calendar Synchronization
The Service can export data to third-party calendar apps (such as Google Calendar and Microsoft Outlook). Synchronization is one-way, and updates made later in the Service may not automatically update external calendar entries.
You are responsible for managing duplicate entries and external calendar cleanup. By using Syllabus Upload, you grant permission to write events to connected calendars.
3. Paid Services And Subscriptions
Certain features require paid subscription access. Payment does not guarantee error-free parsing. We are not liable for downtime or silent failures caused by third-party providers.
All sales are final. Refunds for service interruptions are granted at our sole discretion.
4. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Quast Ventures LLC is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Total liability for claims shall not exceed the amount paid by you immediately preceding the claim.
5. Data Privacy And Non-Retention
CourseQ follows a non-retention framework for uploaded syllabi. We do not store permanent copies of uploaded documents once processing is complete.
We do not use your data to train AI models or for secondary commercial purposes. You are responsible for retaining your own copies of academic materials.
6. Mandatory Arbitration And Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arkansas. Disputes are resolved through binding arbitration in Hot Springs, Arkansas, and class-action participation is waived.
7. Acknowledgment
By using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to these Terms, including that final responsibility for academic deadlines rests with you.
